Salieri OLD
This black-brown gelding has inherited the same luster that his sire Sandro Hit has. Salieri OLD is light-footed and very spirited yet highly sensitive when ridden. What is important with him is that you don't rush him. When training and when getting ready to enter the ring, I let him "jog" for a while. "Sali" is a dream horse and the feeling he gives is like a dream. He can be a pest though when you handle him because he constantly demands your undivided attention.
Salieri was also discovered at the Oldenburg Elite Auction in 2002. As if it were just a matter of course, Salieri made his way to international advanced level dressage in 2005 after winning a series of medium (M) level dressage tests. The middle of 2006 he entered his first national Grand Prix dressage tests, winning one and placing second twice. At the German Masters/GER in Stuttgart he took seventh place in his very first international Grand Prix Special. The Upper Austrian State Dressage Champion title was added in Steyr by winning the advanced (S), the St. Georges and the Inter I tests. The next highlight in his career was in 2007: First place in the World Cup Free-Style of Marienbad/CZE and seven further first and seven other placings in the Grand Prix of Weikersdorf, Bremen/GER, Stuttgart/GER and Frankfurt/GER.
In June 2007 Salieri received the OLD suffix which indicates that he is sponsored in sport by the Oldenburg Verband in Vechta/GER.
