Kunibert Had an Emergency

It was a peach stone, just a normal peach stone that was removed from Kunibert's stomach during an emergency operation. How the stone got in the dog is something our slowly recovering patient will never be able to tell us.

 

Last weekend, Kunibert stopped eating and then he stopped drinking. Very worried, we brought him to our vet's clinic. First they thought he must have some sort of a liver problem. But the operation proved an entirely different problem. So much for omnivores.

 

 

The fate of our little Francis who was sold to Paul Baune and his family was not so fortunate. Out on a walk last weekend, a hunting dog got a hold of her and bit her until she died. When we heard about it, we were just as shocked as the Baunes who had become very fond of her.
