Bvlgari was the 2008 1st Reserve Champion at the  18th NRW licensing in Münster-Handorf. The Breeding Director of the Westphalian Verband, Dr. Friedrich Marahrens, made the following comment: "He comes from a mare line that has long proved itself. He's a wonderfully large-framed stallion with light-footed and elastic movements hard to beat." 

His sire Belissimo was the highest priced stallion at the 2002 NRW Auction, broke records at his 30-day test, was a Bundeschampion in 2003, took fifth place in the 2004 WC and became the 2005 Vice Bundeschampion. 25 licensed sons are already on record along with 21 State Premium mares and the Bundeschampion of riding horses, Bacchus von Worrenberg.
His dam, Verb.Pr.St. Wind of Change, also gave birth to a full sister named Betty Barclay who wins ribbons in tests for youngsters. The dam's sire, World Magic, won ribbons under Uta Gräf up to Grand Prix. The granddam, St.Pr.St. Fleurance, was in the final ring of the 1994 Westphalian Elite Broodmare Show. She is also the dam of St.Pr.St. Dylene (by Dynast) and the talented young dressage horse, Reinster Wahnsinn (by Rheingau). Florestan I has belonged to the world's best top ten sires for years. The great granddam, St.Pr.St. Fendora, is the dam of the State Stud sire and stallion performance test winner,  Faveur (by Florestan I), the Grand Prix dressage horse Sir Oliver (by Florestan I) as well as five State Premium daughters: Along with Fleurance also her full sisters Fleur, Florenka, Fae and Faveura.
The line of Astfläche is also the origin of the Westphalian Champion Stallion, Fidertanz, the Bundeschampionat finalist Fanconi and the licensed stallions Diconto, Frederiko, Paradiso, Orlando, Graditz and Remoir.
