My father has been training me for 20 years now - and all of my achievements are due to him.

And before that, he helped my mother for 20 years from one sucess to the next. He helped my mother and me in a total of six Olympic Games. This year in August he will turn 70 and wanted to have some support in his position as active trainer so that he has more time for some of his other interests such as collecting antiques. So it was his and our wish and will, that Wolfram Wittig takes up some of his work from now on. The highly successful Grand Prix rider and trainer successfully trained Isabell Werth for many years and he has already given great impulses for our cooperation. The communication between him, my parents and me is everything we could hope for, especially since we have an identical goal of classic dressage: A horse that you have trained yourself, right from the beginning, that is relaxed and satisfied, that can master the most difficult movements thanks to careful schooling and a sensible plan for training and building muscles. You aren't supposed to see all the effort and strength it takes in dressage  to ride piaffe, passage and pirouetts. The horses must be expressive and light-footed in the dressage ring. That is always the way we wanted it to be - and that is also the way Wolfram Wittig insists it should be. So we are extremely happly that he has found the time to help me structure my training efforts. We are also delighted that we share a common passion for breeding. He bred all of the successful horses that he and his wife trained to Grand Prix.
