We recently read in a newspaper that August der Starke is much too big form me. So we reacted immediately and tried washing him with hot water in the washing machine. Since he didn't shrink enough, we put him in the drier and what came out of the drier you see here. Guess that was a bit too much – conclusion: you shouldn't always believe what's in the newspapers.

The breeding societies ought to issue washing and care instructions so that something like this doesn't happen again in the future.
