Olympic Diary 30

In the afternoon we were received by the  mayor of the Olympic Village. It was an official visit and the entire Austrian equestrian team was there, so my quarantine partner, the event rider Harald Ambros, was also present.

The mayor was very friendly, inquired about our horses and asked how training was going. She wished us lots of luck when we left. 

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish my team colleague Harald Ambros lots of luck too. On Friday his Quick is up for the vet check. Afterward, the starting order for the dressage test will be drawn. Depending on fate, he'll be riding on Saturday or Sunday.
