Lyon/FRA: Augustin OLD Third in the Grand Prix

The World Cup in Lyon/FRA, where I'm riding for the first time, got off to a super start. In the Grand Prix, Augustin OLD qualified for tomorrow's World Cup Free-Style with 72.87 percent, finishing third right behind Herzruf's Erbe under Ulla Salzgeber/GER and Warum Nicht FRH with Isabell Werth/GER. The half-passes, the passage tour and the pirouettes to the left went really well - and were rewarded by a 9. But for some reason, there were a couple little misunderstandings in the piaffes, which is normally what Augustin does best, and in the flying changes between the pirouettes. But I am still satisfied with our debut on French soil because Augustin OLD was very self-assured and otherwise quite supple and expressive. The judges saw it that way too.
